Provincial leaders assigned to pilot night economic activities at two resorts NovaWorld Phan Thiet and Thanh Long Bay in the fourth quarter.
According to the Project on developing the night economy of Binh Thuan province to 2030, the province piloted the organization of cultural activities and services, entertainment, dining, shopping, and night tourism tours at the Complex. Ocean Valley tourist area (NovaWorld Phan Thiet) has a scale of nearly 1,000 hectares in Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city and Thanh Long Bay Resort and Tourism Complex of more than 90 hectares in Tan Thanh commune, Ham Thuan Nam district. Some phases of these projects have now been completed.
After the pilot, night economic activities were also developed in Phan Thiet City, in the area along both sides of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ham Tien Ward (from Ca Ty Tourist Area to Saigon - Cape Town Tourist Area). Ne), on Nguyen Tat Thanh - Le Duan street and on both sides of the Ca Ty river.
By 2025, the project aims to pilot night-time economic development activities in 5 localities, including Phan Thiet city, Tuy Phong district, Bac Binh district, Ham Thuan Nam district and La Gi town. In the period 2026 - 2030, continue to expand suitable locations and areas to exploit night economic activities.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to add to the project night economic development locations in Phu Quy district. According to the roadmap, night economic activities will be prioritized for development in Phan Thiet City, La Gi town and Phu Quy district. Products and services include water music, fireworks displays, and commercial development routes. Provincial leaders also requested to complete traffic roads and parking lots at tourist areas and promote promotion.
Previously, from 2020, the Prime Minister approved the Night Economy Development Project. Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also issued a Project on a number of models for developing night tourism products. The project sets a goal that in the next three years, some major tourism centers such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho... will have at least one model for developing Developing night tourism products.
Some provinces and cities have promoted nighttime activities and services. For example, Khanh Hoa focuses on tourism and nightlife entertainment products in Nha Trang city and Bai Dai area (Cam Lam district - Cam Ranh city.
